I’m not here to convince you that the U.S. team is the best in the World. I am here to convince you why you should be a fan, and why THAT is the greatest thing in the world. From the players to the American Outlaws, it’s time for the break down.
10. Soccer isn’t called “The Beautiful Game” for nothing. It’s about the camaraderie of the fans, and the support of a nation behind a team. It’s the sound of the fans singing and cheering the whole 90 plus minutes. It’s about those fans that are so attached to their team that they cry when their team loses. It’s not just a sport, it’s a beautiful game.
9. The fashion. Yes, the fashion plays a role in why you should be a fan. You don’t want to be a fan of a team that has crappy fashion. Right? Every year Nike has brought out the big guns when it comes to the USA jerseys, they are slick. Off the field though, the guys look even better. Sure some of the style choices have been a little whack, but lately everything has been on point. Bravo to whoever the stylist is.

8. The Deuce face. Don’t know what it is? Here let me show you. Yes, that is Clint Dempsey making the Deuce face and blowing up the internet. Dempsey doesn’t take any crap from anyone. Just look at his face!

7. The Coaches. Many fans have a problem with the coaches but then again, what team doesn’t have a fan somewhere in the world that hates the coach? It’s unavoidable. Back to the coaches though, these guys know what they are doing. The current coach, Jurgen Klinsmann, isn’t only passionate about the team, he’s smart. You guys can hate on him all you want, but that man knows what he’s doing when it comes to soccer. I’m not kidding when I say he’s passionate, just look up his goal celebrations on Youtube and you’ll see what I mean.
6. The way the team bonds. This team isn’t just a “team,” they are a family. When these guys are together everything seems right in the world. And it’s just a bonus that they post awesomely awesome pictures all over the internet.

5. The players. This is a given since Aerys is a network of mostly women writers; you know a post like this has to have a shirtless soccer player. It’s not just the attractiveness of the team, it’s everything about them. They play their hearts out doing what they love. It’s incredible.
4. The way the players play. There is no such thing as a friendly if you’re a US soccer fan or player. There never has been, and there never will be. The players play every game like it’s the World Cup Final. The fans show up at every game like it’s the World Cup Final. It’s not only awesome in person, but even watching TV it’s awesome to see the dedication.
3. The American Outlaws. You haven’t seen supporters this dedicated in your life. I guarantee it. These people are downright devoted to the USMNT. From the pre-game National anthem to the post game commentary, they are standing tall and being loud. No matter the conditions or the score, you can always count on the Outlaws to bring their A-Game.
2. Did I mention the players? Yes, well here they are again. If these guys aren’t enough to make you a fan then I don’t know what will! Case in point:

1. The Pride. Supporting the USMNT isn’t just about liking soccer; it’s about the pride of being an American. If you’re an American, there is no excuse for you not being a USMNT fan. You’re from the US, the USMNT represents the US. The players don’t see it as a “job”, they see it as a reward, a privilege. They get to rep their country day in and day out. It’s a task that is taken seriously, and never for granted. Don’t tread on the USMNT. It’s as easy as that.
